Welcome, Jillene!
Outcomes:
Circle Table - What is a compliment? Let's start by listing at least 5 things that define a compliment. Write them on the board. Think & Share - Compliment Examples THINK - Remember back to a compliment you've given, received, or observed lately. Think of the specific words, context, behaviors present in that situation. Write a few notes, if needed. SHARE - Take turns sharing out the story of the compliment you thought of. Allow the group to ask clarifying questions. As a group, see which of the "things that define a compliment" does the example meet or not meet. Do we want to add/subtract or revise our criteria for compliments, based on our discussion? See. Think. Wonder. - Spend Time Looking at "Spill the Teatude" - On a different whiteboard, write down at least 10 sees, 10 thinks, 10 wonder based on this creation by students in this school - Each person in here, must write one compliment that meets our criteria, based on what you see in our school newspaper.
